Straight up bonkers for the developers to classify the removal of energy regeneration data in the latest update as a "quality of life" improvement... Removing functionality and useful information did not improve my life... Now after a 500 mile road trip in my PHEV, instead of getting useful data about how much energy went into/out of my battery over the whole trip, I get the woefully useless average metric of "<0.1 kWh consumption". What a joke.

Has the potential to be useful, however drivers using an additional profile (i.e. not the owner profile) do not get the Location permissions of "Allow all the time" within the journal app, only "whilst using the app", and therefore trips get logged but no place names or locations are added. So kinda makes it pointless. Also would be good if each day had a summary of mpg, miles driven on electric, miles on petrol etc, rather than just the total miles.

It is not a logbook. It just keeps your last trip. very unuseful.

What’s new
This release comes with a small quality-of-life upgrade: energy consumption and regeneration now live together, with average consumption calculated for you. We also gave permissions onboarding a tune-up and did some quiet reliability work on trip + waypoint syncing. Nothing flashy — just better.
